An industrial fire in Horsham destroys vehicles

An industrial fire in Horsham on Monday, November 14th, has destroyed two trucks and extensively damaged a third.

Emergency crews were called to King Drive just at around 8:10pm and had the fire under control within about half-an-hour.

Sergeant Jason Bergen from Horsham police said emergency services, CFA and police were all called to attend the blaze.

"Emergency services, CFA and police received a call to attend number 11 King Drive Horsham in relation to a multiple truck fire," he said.

"Three trucks were involved (in the fire) a prime mover which is totally gutted, another flat bed truck with a trailer is destroyed (but) the trailer will be okay and another new vehicle which will have to have some significant repairs."

An investigation is taking place to find what sparked the fire.

"At this stage the cause of the fire is still being investigated.

"It's most likely not suspicious but it's going to be looked at."

No other premises were under threat or in danger from the fire.
