A truck driver is dead after his truck rolled at Langkoop.

Police have been told the truck rolled and hit a tree on Edenhope-Penola Road around 10am.

The male driver of the truck died at the scene.

A number of cattle were also killed in the crash.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
