Police are appealing for public assistance after a man was found with serious injuries on the side of the road in Horsham early this morning.

Emergency services were called to Dooen Road where the injured man was found about 5.50am.

A 24-year-old Warracknabeal man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s injuries and are yet to determine if the man was hit by a car.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone that may have been driving through Horsham or on Dooen Road between 4am and 6am this morning.
