It was confirmed by the Grampians Public Health Unit exposure sites have been identified in Halls Gap and Stawell following a visit by a Covid positive person came to the area between Friday, October 8th to Sunday, October 10th.

Exposure sites include;
Industry & Co Barbering and Hairdressing; 112 Main Street, Stawell
(Tier 1) 2pm - 3.30pm
Spirit of Punjab; 161-163 Grampians Road, Halls Gap
(Tier 1) 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Paper Scissors Rock Brew Co; 119 Grampians Road, Halls Gap
(Tier 1) 7.30pm - 8pm
Live Fast Cafe; 97 Grampians Road, Halls Gap
(Tier 1) 11am - 11.30am
Flame Brother's Restaurant & Bar; 10/97 Grampians Road, Halls Gap
(Tier 1 ) 6.40pm - 8.30pm
Grampians Adventure Golf Cafe, MOCO Gallery (Cafe only); 475 - 481 Grampians Road, Halls Gap
(Tier 1) 11.15am - 1pm

If you were in the area, or visited any of the Tier 1 sites, get tested and isolate until you come back with a negative result.

Wednesday October 6th 2021

Its been confirmed that Ararat Early Learning Centre is a tier 1 exposure site for last Friday 1st October. 9.50am - 6.30pm.

Children who were in attendance these times must have a Covid test and isolate with members from their household for 14 days. Grampians Public Health will be in contact with all families and staff who attended Friday.

The Centre is closed until further notice, with the it stated by the centre that the staff member who tested positive had not been to any known exposure sites.

Yarriambiack case - HEALTH authorities have advised that the latest case is a primary close contact from the original two positive cases in Warracknabeal - that were isolating for their entire infectious period at the caravan park- with no exposure sites being announced due to this.

The Grampians Public Health Unit has advised officials that the new case has been in isolation for their entire infectious period and that there are still no exposure sites.

There are also no additional primary close contacts from the new case.

The two original cases are expected to come out of quarantine in the next few days once they produce negative tests to Covid.

Tuesday, October 5th 2021

1 extra case of Covid 19 was added to the Yarriambiack daily figures, with it uncertain as to where this case listed to be in Warraknabeal has arisen. There has also been one extra case added to Ararat, bringing their total to 6 cases. Stawell has no cases listed on the governments website, although there originally was one case, over 500 locals have been tested in the Northern Grampians with no community transmission recorded at this stage.

Monday, October 4th, 2021

Four Covid positive cases were announced in Ararat yesterday (Sunday, October 4th, 2021). The four cases were around the Meatworks operations. The contact tracing team is working to identify the links which should be announced in the next few days.

Currently the region has 5 active cases in Ararat, and 1 active case in Stawell.

Friday, October 1st, 2021

Stawell Regional Health has confirmed a clinical team member has tested positive to Covid-19. The staff member worked onsite in radiology on Monday, September 27th, Tuesday, September 28th, and Wednesday September 29th.

If you had an ultrasound over those three days, you will need to get tested and isolate for 14 days. If you attended Radiology, but did not get an ultrasound you are required to get a test and stay home until you receive a negative result.
