A Sense of Place
Event Time10 am - 2 pm
“A Sense of Place”, the summer exhibition at Willaura Railway Station Gallery, opened to visitors.
It is an impressive showcase of the amazing talents of a variety of artists and their craft. The rolling plains of the eastern side of the Grampians have offered enormous inspiration to these artists who work in a variety of mediums: textiles, quilt art, oil and acrylic, video art.
This is a “must-see” exhibition for locals and visitors alike, who identify and love the landscape where we are fortunate to live. There is plenty to keep local farmers interested as well.
So if the weather gets a bit damp, come along and join us anytime over summer. You are welcome to have a picnic on the platform from the Willaura Bakery and make a special booking with Lois 0428541482 or visit Fridays and Saturdays 10 am - 2 pm.
Special events and “Meet the Artist” Workshops will be updated on the Willaura Modern Facebook Page.
We gratefully acknowledge the continued support of CHS Broadbent, who have ensured our local artists and community group have been able to present this exhibition to you in our local district.
